This website was mainly about the vocabulary so it didn't describe the formula. But still, I could see some words that I didn't know before. I recommend this site only for studying vocabulary! I think that resource is not enough to study with, so I added one more.
I recommend this website because it described definitions and also the formulars. It also showed the graph that shows the change of the speed. But the problem was that in the back, it was getting harder. So I
think we should watch until number 5.
Video for qualitative and quantitative
This week in science class, we have discussed mostly about quantitative and qualitative research. we did some experiments on the two types of research. If you still got a little confused between the two types of research, here is a video that will help you to have a better understanding of what they are and how to separate them. The woman in the video speaks very clearly, and she wrote all the important information on the screen. Her tone is not very boring and the video is very short. However, it is mostly what we have learned in class, but you can use it for studying and for review if your forget it. Have fun watching it.
Hi People, I found an interactive website that can help us remember and review the qualitative and quantitative observations we learned in class. In this website, you can review the different types by using a flashcard, taking a test, listening and writing, matching words, and playing an educational game. You can choose one of these options based on your learning type. There is total about 30 words to review, and most of them are examples of the qualitative and quantitative observations. This website is free, you can use it with log in and without. This website is helpful if you don’t reading is not excellent because you can also listen to it.

This week in grade 8 science our objective was learning about the lab safety and Qualitative and Quantitative observations. Our class moved around the class and find 5 Qualitative or Quantitative observation my partner was Tomas. Qualitative observation are words that describe qualities or characteristics. (Ex. Red, soft, dry, sour) Quantitative observations are numbers and a unit that describe something. (Ex. 1 cm, 2 hours, 34.5 m) Also our class learned about lab safety we should not eat, drink , horse play, and tie your hair if it is long. Lastly we get job in science class and this jobs rotate 1 week at a time.(blogger, searcher, responder)
In this week, we were looking on the Qualitative observation and Quantitative observation, The observation can be made using the five senses, which are sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. And in qualitative observation, you use the words that describe qualities or characteristics. And when you are using quantitative observation, you use the nubers and a lable/ unit that describe something. We did a lab activiy that we look at an object and write down the observations of that. This week was fun and let me learn a lot. At first, I had no idea of these types of observation, but now, I'm understant the two observations and can using that easily.
What is Qualitative Observation?
What is a quantitative observation?
I find this useful article on the internet; it’s called “Difference between Qualitative and Quantitative Observation”. First the author explained what are quantitative observation and qualitative observation. Author gave the definition of the word, and then gave a example to improve the meaning of the word. If anyone still confuse about what are qualitative and quantitative observation, the next part will really helpful to you. The next part begins to compare the difference between those two types of observations. Author gave plenty of examples of each of them. In the last paragraph, author summarized basically what are the main differences that can clarify what is qualitative observation? And what is quantitative observation? This is the website: http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-qualitative-and-vs-quantitative-observation/
This week we study about quantitative observation and qualitative observation. We know quantitative are numbers and a label/unit that describe something. And qualitative observations are words that describe qualities or characteristics. A week ago, we did the observation in lab. We use the materials that the teacher give as, like: cube, orange, ball...... The student in class also study the “Lab Safety Rules”, which is we need to follow the rules in lab. And we choose rules to draw a comic that is homework. We also write reports. For the science experience, we had a change to get into the experiment. That's what we learned and learned in science class a week. I think we've learned a lot this week.
This week in 8th grade science our objective was to learn how to use our ISN notebooks, blog, and we also learned about Qualitative and Quantitative observations. For the blog entry #1 I’m going to write about first and second week. On the first week Ms. Hart gave out notebooks and taught us how we should use it. On the right side, you write the information or stick the paper inside. We are not allowed to draw on that side. On the left side, you can choose to draw something inside or do something creative to show that you understand what it means. With learning, how to use our notebooks we did a lot of activities like the All about me page and the Lab Safety Contract. On the second week of school we learned about the difference between Qualitative and Quantitative observations. This taught us that Qualitative observations are words that describe qualities or characteristics. Quantitative Observations are numbers and label unit that describe something. After one class learning about it we went to the Lab to do an experiment. There on each table were six different items that we measure, weigh, smell, feel, and observe and write which one it is. I thought that these two weeks were quite interesting because I though the idea with the notebook was pretty smart so it’s easier for us to study the notes. I also hope that we can do more labs in the future because there pretty fun and also that we worked alone.
